As the cold and snow of winter begin to melt away we are awash in colorful dreams of spring.
Pastels and muted tones are making their way back into our repertoire and we love the light and airy looks in bridal blogs everywhere! A blend of classic and on trend, we are loving light peach, minty greens and dusty blues for every venue, from romantic to shabby chic, rustic or outdoors, pastels are soft, subtle and so versatile. Think baby pink, cream, and grey tones like silver set against the backdrop of an old cherry orchard in full bloom or dusty blue and light gold glimmering on every table at a rustic barn wedding. To enrich the softness of pastels a hot new color scheme we love is rich emerald green set against lighter shades of grey. The contrast of a deep emerald green pops beautifully with neutral grey tones. Add in touches of gold or copper and we can almost feel the dappled sunlight stretching across the Puget Sound at a sunset wedding. To give a pop of vibrancy to a cream or pastel look try something like bright teal mixed with a fresh minty green or a shiny copper. Mixing shades of a similar color or deepening the hue can add depth to a color scheme, such as a deeper shade of peach with navy. There are so many directions to go, so many ways to imagine colors perfecting your unique day. We are embracing springs palettes, stay tuned for more ideas, trends and our favorites this wedding season!
Until next time,
