We've blogged about it and shared on our facebook feed pictures and stories of our events that make us feel proud of what we do. Some are local, small, artisan or for a special cause; others are personal, intimate or large and dynamic, corporate or diy. What we haven't shared is what we think makes all of these different kinds of events good? What makes the event, regardless of how many people or the kinds of food or what the event is for, really shine?
Over the years we've found that the most basic ingredients for a great, nay, a fabulous! event, is trust. That key to flow, things suddenly coming together; the spark that allows for creative innovation when things start to happen that we don't have control over, like the weather or, well I'm sure you can think of a thing or two. This key ingredient can't be bought, it is cultivated through dedication, experience and a spirit of commonality. We'd like to think we have it in spades, with our talented crew, our vendors, and our clients. It's what makes Nola's Events boutique, authentic, and it's what makes our days go easier when things don't go as planned, and turn out better! We have discovered this through years of dedication and it is woven into the language of our company, our food, creative drive and logistical magic.
August has been full, in fact this whole summer has been one of our busiest on record! In reflecting we've found that as we grow, as we take on more diverse events and open up to deepening our roots locally along with widening our circle with international companies and more types of soirees, one thing is certain, we've built trust.
Thank you, all of you, for being so gracious with your testimonials, your likes, sharing your lives with us for the big days and the important transitions, it means a whole lot!
We'll see you at your next event, big, small or anywhere in between!
