Our Team.

As a women-owned and operated, West Seattle-based business, we are dedicated to elevating the catered & event experience and supporting sustainable, local fare. Over the years, we have planned hundreds of weddings, large corporate events, and private parties.

Chef Nola Nevers

Owner

Since 1990, Nola has been creating unforgettable events through innovative cuisine, thoughtful design, and impeccably styled celebrations. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu in New York in Sicilian and French cuisine, she blends global influences with Northwest flavors, often sourcing ingredients directly from Pike Place Market. From private dinners to weddings, corporate events, and intimate cooking classes, food and hospitality remain at the heart of her work.

Chef Weeze Nelligan

Head Chef & Recipe Developer

With nearly 30 years of experience, Weeze is an expert saucier and avid mushroom forager who excels at creating beautifully customized menus. After transitioning from front-of-house to back-of-house and traveling nationwide honing her craft, she brought her talents to Washington State. Known for her attention to detail and client-focused approach, Weeze ensures every dish is both flawless in flavor and stunning in presentation.

Clementine Peterson

Event Coordinator & Admin

Clementine joined Nola’s Catering in early 2024, bringing several years of hands-on catering experience that began in professional kitchens at age 16. Raised in the event world by a wedding planner parent with over 25 years in the industry, they bring both skill and intuition to every event. When not supporting Nola in the office or onsite, Clementine enjoys crocheting and board games, and looks forward to helping plan your next celebration.

Alex Veazey

Event Coordinator

Alex brings a 12-year background in visual merchandising and interior design into the world of event design and planning. With a keen eye for detail, she creates beautifully layered table scapes, floral designs, and back drops while expertly managing timelines and logistics. From concept to execution, Alex partners with clients to plan events seamlessly from top to bottom.
